June 2026 Fishing Report — Riviera Beach, FL

June off the Palm Beach coast is a productive stretch. Water temps are climbing, bait is moving, and the fish are following. The past couple of days on the Sea Horse have been a good reminder of why this is one of the better windows of the year to be out here.

Snapper

Mutton snapper are showing well right now in the nearshore zone off Riviera Beach. June is a prime window for this species along the southeast Florida coast, as warming water pushes fish up from depth and into more accessible structure. These are hard-fighting fish with excellent table fare, and they’ve been a consistent producer on recent trips aboard the Sea Horse.

Mangrove snapper are also active through this stretch. Both species tend to stay productive through the summer, so expect solid snapper action to continue in the weeks ahead.

Cobia

Cobia have been making an appearance on trips out of Riviera Beach. June sits right in the summer window for this species off south Florida, and they’re worth targeting when conditions line up. These are big, strong fish and a lot of fun on a drift trip when they show up.
